MITHILA NAV-CHETNA SAMITY is a non - profit and non-political organization with special focus on ACQUIRE LAND to build up MITHILA BHAWAN, conducting Mithilas' cultural programmes, popularize Maithili Literate and making all citizens aware of Mithila heritages. The society came in existence by great endeavor of a group of dedicated Maithils. The concept of MITHILA NAV-CHETNA SAMITY just came in mind by a group of Maithils with some small get-together for exchanging their thoughts. Gradually it took a good shape in presence of some terrific Maithils.

विद्यापति गोसाञुनि गीत

जय जय भैरवि असुर भयाउनि,
पसुपति–भाबिनि माया ।
सहज सुमति वर दिअ हे गोसाञुनि,
अनुगति गति तुअ पाया ।।

बासर–रइनि सवासने सोभित,
चरन चन्‍द-मनि-चूड़ा ।
कतओक दैत मारि मुहे मेरल,
कतन उगिलि करु कूड़ा ।।

सामर बदन, नयन अनुरञ्जित,
जलद जोग फुल कोका ।
कट-कट विकट ओठ–पुट पाँड़रि,
लिधुर–फेन उठ फोका ।६।।

घन घन घनन घुघुरु कटि बाजए,
हन हन कर तुअ काता ।
विद्यापति कवि तुअ पद सेवक,
पुत्र बिसरु जनु माता ।।८।।
